Greetings Dear Followers,
Today we will discuss the Karak (Benefic) and Marak (Malefic) planets for Libra and Scorpio Ascendants.
1. Libra Ascendant:
In Libra Ascendant, Venus is both the Lord of the Ascendant (Lagnesh) and the 8th house (Ashtamesh), but because it is the Lagnesh, it does not get the dosha of Ashtamesh. It is highly benefic.
– Yogakarak: In this ascendant, Saturn is a powerful Yogakarak because it is the lord of the 4th (Kendra) and 5th (Trikona) houses.
– Yogakarak: Mercury is also considered Yogakarak, because it rules the 9th (Trikona) and 12th houses and one of its signs falls in a Trikona.
– Akarak (Non-benefic): Jupiter and Sun are Akarak for this ascendant.
– Strong Marakesh: Mars, being the lord of the 2nd and 7th houses, becomes a strong Marakesh.

– Mars is the Lagnesh itself.
– Jupiter is the lord of the 2nd and 5th houses.
– Moon is highly yogakari as it is the lord of the 9th house.
– Sun is a friend of Mars and being the lord of the 10th house, is Yogakarak.
