Greetings Dear Followers,
Today we will discuss the benefic and marak planets for Aquarius and Pisces ascendants.
1. Aquarius Ascendant:
In an Aquarius ascendant chart, the first Yogakaraka planet is Saturn, as it is the Lagnesh. In this ascendant, the second complete Yogakaraka planet is Venus, which is the lord of the 4th and 9th houses, meaning one of its signs falls in a Kendra and the other in a Trikona.
The third Yogakaraka planet in an Aquarius chart is Mercury. It is the lord of the 5th house. Although one of its signs falls in the 8th house, it does not get the dosha of being Marak or Akarak.
Marak planets for Aquarius Ascendant –
In this chart, Sun and Jupiter are Marak. Mars is neutral, because here it is the lord of the 3rd and 10th houses. The Sun and Moon do not get the dosha of being the 8th lord.
2. Pisces Ascendant:
In a Pisces ascendant chart, Dev Guru Jupiter itself is the Lagnesh, hence it is Yogakaraka. In Pisces ascendant, the second Karak planet is Mars, which is the lord of the 2nd and 9th houses. The next Yogakaraka planet in this chart is the Moon, which is the lord of the 5th house.
Marak planets for Pisces Ascendant –
In Pisces ascendant, Saturn is Marak. The next Marak planet in this ascendant is Venus, which in this chart is the lord of the 3rd and 8th houses. Mercury in this chart is both Marak and Badhak, because this is a dual-natured ascendant.
Thus, the discussion on Karak and Marak planets concludes today.
In the next post, we will start discussion on a new topic.
