Choice filling: what to be careful about

One important caution: candidates will be able to edit their choice list during this period, but those who edit must re-lock the revised choices using the OTP facility. If not re-locked, the previously locked choices will be considered for allotment.
After seat allotment
The Round-1 allotment result will be declared on October 29. Allotted candidates must report in person at the allotted college between October 30 and November 10 (up to 6:00 PM) for document verification, admission and exercising the option for upgradation. The option of online resignation/cancellation of admission will also remain open during this period.
What comes next: Round 2 and mop-up
The dates for Round 2 and the mop-up round will be announced within the MCC’s national state-quota timelines. Education portals have tentatively listed mid-November for Round 2 and December for the mop-up, but the official announcement is awaited.
Today is decisive for MD/MS aspirants — complete your registration before the midnight deadline so that your name figures in the October 21 merit list.
